VP of Human Resources




As a member of the senior leadership team, leads the development and implementation of a “best-in-class” Human Resource organization that effectively partners with the business to drive business objectives. Ensures all workforce programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives. Oversees all HR activities and initiatives including, supporting employee development, enhancing employee engagement, designing on-boarding procedures, addressing employee concerns and disputes, implementing HR strategies that support business objectives, forecasting staffing needs, designing benefit programs, designing performance accountability mechanisms, and overseeing overall employment process.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements human resources policies and procedures
  • Develops HR strategic plan that supports business growth and enhances employee engagement and retention
  • Designs and continuously improves HR processes to ensure alignment with the needs of the business
  • Creates an employee brand that promotes the organization’s values and attracts and retains the best talent
  • Designs and leads the hiring and onboarding processes for new employees
  • Ensures compliance with laws and regulations
  • Manages employee development and performance management programs and processes
  • Implements and continuously measures the success of employee engagement strategy and initiatives
  • Ensures accurate maintenance of employee information and records
  • Leads the design and administration of employee benefits programs
  • Partners with business leaders to project hiring needs
  • Leads the development and maintenance of job descriptions and compensation structures
  • Designs and directs developmental and technical training programs

Primary Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management
  • 5+ years in a HR leadership role
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking/planning skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of labor laws and regulations
  • Start-up company and/or experience designing and building an HR infrastructure a plus
